About this series
The Building Villages series includes an overview volume and guides on five topics: collaboration, funding and resources, evaluation, community outreach, and staffing. The goal of the series is to provide information that will help you create a caring community for children and families, a village of services that will give children a healthy start and the family a supportive network of services. Each guide provides a framework for thinking about its topic and information to apply to your own programming effort. The guides contain practical suggestions based on the experiences of many programs. The series provides a set of building blocks for a community approach to supporting families.
