Preschool for California's Children (COMPLETED PROJECT)

We evaluated the David and Lucile Packard Foundation’s 10-year grantmaking program to achieve voluntary quality preschool for all 3- and 4-year olds in California.

Strategy for Keeping Children Engaged in Learning

We are working with The Atlantic Philanthropies to evaluate their U.S.-based cluster of grantees that are providing disadvantaged children with access to enriched learning environments and supportive services both during the school day and in the out-of-school time hours.

Statewide Afterschool Networks

We are evaluating the C.S. Mott Foundation’s Statewide Afterschool Networks, a multistate effort to improve the partnerships and policies needed to develop and sustain quality afterschool programs.

Sports4Kids

We evaluated Sports4Kids—a school-based program to improve children’s health and well-being through physical activity and safe and meaningful play—at the William H. Ohrenberger Elementary School in Boston.

Family Engagement for High School Success (COMPLETED PROJECT)

The United Way Worldwide’s Family Engagement for High School Success initiative, which supports the families of disadvantaged high school youth by increasing involvement in their children’s education, produced a number of valuable resources, including a toolkit and a webinar series.
