Harvard Family Research Project (HFRP) and its state and national partners work together to inspire and transform the conversation about policy directions in family engagement. We collaborate with our partners on joint position statements and documentation of promising policies and programs.
National Center on Parent, Family, and Community Engagement The Office of Head Start National Center on Parent, Family, and Community Engagement (NCPFCE) is one of six centers comprising Head Start’s Training and Technical Assistance (T/TA) System. A partnership between the Brazelton Touchpoints Center and Harvard Family Research Project, NCPFCE uses a professional development and communications approach to help Head Start/Early Head Start programs adopt research-informed practices for promoting integrated, systemic, and sustained parent, family, and community engagement. |
National Family, School, and Community Engagement Working Group |
National Coordination Center for the Parental Information and Resource Centers (PIRC) Harvard Family Research Project collaborated with Southwest Education Development Laboratory (SEDL) to serve as the National Coordination Center for the PIRC program. The program provided federal funds to 62 organizations working to promote successful parental involvement policies and programs throughout the United States and its territories. HFRP provided technical assistance and support to PIRCs, with a focus on evaluation approaches, strategic planning and leadership, and policy development and implementation. |
