Our innovative team of researchers focuses on three components of children's learning and development: complementary learning, family involvement in education, and out-of-school time. We also believe that evaluation is essential to improve and maintain the quality of all programs. Therefore, a large part of our research includes piloting new approaches to evaluation and sharing field-wide innovative trends, strategies, and techniques.
Linking families, schools, and communities to support success in school and in life.
Promoting strategies to support family involvement in children’s learning and development.
Supporting the accessibility, quality, and sustainability of out-of-school time programs and initiatives.
Helping organizations get the information they need to develop and execute effective strategies.
Exploring new ideas and research areas.
