Heidi Rosenberg, Senior Research Analyst at Harvard Family Research Project, made a guest appearance to discuss family engagement on the latest episode of The Whole Child's podcast series, "Changing the Conversation about Education."
This episode examines research that reinforces the need for family engagement in education, practices that create and sustain meaningful involvement, and barriers that we must overcome to achieve this vision. In it, Heidi discusses family engagement with Sheila Jackson, Director of the Department of School Improvement in the Comer School Development Program Office and Regional Training Center for Prince George’s County (Md.) Public Schools, and Trise Moore, Family and Community Partnership Director for Federal Way Public Schools in Washington State.
