This month's FINE (Family Involvement Network of Educators) Newsletter has published a digest of new research on the home reading practices of urban families, a syllabus for a course on family strengthening interventions, slides and handouts from a conference panel on research and evaluation of family involvement in education, and a presentation from a conference workshop that makes the case for family involvement. As usual, this month's newsletter has links to many other family involvement resources on the Web, including books, reports, articles, toolkits, a website, programs, a policy publication, and upcoming events.
