We've added 6 new and updated profiles to our OST Program Research and Evaluation Database. All of the programs in this update receive funding from the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) initiative--the only federal funding stream that provides dedicated funds for afterschool programs.

The OST Profiles with new and updated evaluations include:

  • NEW: Common Practices in High Functioning Afterschool Programs
  • UPDATED: Communities Organizing Resources to Advance Learning (CORAL) Initiative
  • NEW: Cost of Quality Out-of-School Time Programs
  • NEW: Enhanced Academic Instruction in After-School Programs
  • UPDATED: LA's BEST (Better Educated Students for Tomorrow) Program
  • UPDATED: Woodcraft Rangers' Nvision Afterschool Program

We've also added a new category to our OST Research and Evaluation Bibliography: You are now able to sort the bibliography by Digital Media and Learning, which features programs that use technology as part of their program offerings. In light of the increasing use of digital media and technology in OST, we believe that this new category will help those looking for ways to incorporate digital media and learning into their own programs.
