The Create Your Own Case Facilitators Guide begins with an overview of the case method, outlines the components of the Create Your Own Case Toolkit, and describes specific ways the toolkit can be used in different professional development settings. The Facilitators Guide also includes sample workshop session plans, ranging in duration from 1 hour to 1 day, which integrate the different activities in the toolkit.

The Create Your Own Case Facilitators Guide (PDF) offers specific ideas for how the Create Your Own Case Toolkit can be used in courses, workshops, seminars or in individual supervisory sessions. It is developed with the following audiences in mind:

• faculty who are teaching courses on family, school, and community topics,
• professional development specialists, and
• supervisors and coaches of individuals whose work involves community and family engagement.
